I had a very custom situation that required above-and-beyond design to achieve contemporary-looking drapes in a difficult location in my home. After having many companies out to my home and none of them could figure out how to do it, Sandy at A Better Blind & Drapery gave me exactly what I wanted (which was maximum light blockage in a modern, clean, simple design in my difficult large multiple window location)! I also had a very specific fabric in mind (to match something else in my home), and Sandy was able to find it for me! Adam was a very thorough and professional installer. Wow, Dave is amazing. Two years ago, I had him come out and give me an estimate for shutters. At the time, I decided not to go ahead with it because I had other house priorities. A month ago, I called and asked him to come out again and problem-solve my living room wall. I get a lot of afternoon sun, but back up to a golf course, so I wanted to be able to enjoy the view. He showed me many options and gave me great guidance. I got the solar shades installed. I had no idea how much these would improve both the interior and the pleasure of living. He was patient and explained what to expect, the installation was flawless, and the price was affordable. Thank you, Dave, you were right I love them!
Hunter Douglas has great products. However, their sales team of A Better Blind and Drapery is what will make me a repeat customer. We just moved into a new place in San Clemente, and my friend referred A Better Blind and Drapery. Dave came over soon after making an appointment, showing us all the possibilities for our windows. I contacted Better Blind & Drapery to install new draperies in my bedroom. The results were absolutely spectacular! Sandy came to help me select the style, color, materials, and details. She suggested a canopy that covered a drab bare space above the window, which provided an elegant frame for the drapery. I also consulted with Sandy about making a canopy for the antique bed. She suggested a complimentary colored material on the interior. Adam then came to measure. He was quick and precise. The draperies came back with the patterns on each side and matched perfectly. When closed, the draperies looked like one smooth pattern. The bed canopy also fit perfectly. Every pleat was smooth without any pucker. The result was simply elegant. In a time when craftsmanship has all but disappeared, A Better Blind & Drapery provides service, style, and perfection.
