These are the ultimate light-controlling shades, with adjustable, S-shaped vanes between front and back sheer panels. Hunter Douglas makes them with UV-protection fabrics that guard your walls, floors, and furnishings. The vanes float in between the sheers, diffusing the light beautifully.

That innovative, one-of-a-kind design also affords the daytime privacy you need – tilt the panels. When nighttime approaches, you can close the vanes for complete privacy, depending on the fabric opacity chosen. In essence, you're getting the benefits of sheer shades with filtered sunlight and opaque shades with privacy.

Silhouette® Sheer Shades vs. Pirouette® Sheer Shades

Pirouette® Sheer Shades are similar to Silhouette® Sheer Shades but have a somewhat different aesthetic. Rather than having S-shaped vanes, Pirouette® Sheer Shades have 4" or 5" half-moon-shaped vanes. Their softly contoured, thicker lines expand and contract, and instead of two panels, there is one sheer in the back. These also enhance the light beautifully, have UV protection, and come in over 90 fabrics and colors.
